 What the hell does that mean!

Does this sound familiar?

Your doctor says you have [Pre-Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome, Insulin Resistance, Adult-Onset Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, Obesity, Over Weight, Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), High Blood Sugar, High Blood Glucose, High A1C, High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, Hyperinsulinemia, insert your diagnosis here],  

Your first thought is, “So what the hell does that mean?”  Then he returns your deer-caught-in-the-headlights stare with his own and says, “Eat less, move more… and take these pills.” Your second thought is the same as your first, “So what the hell does that mean?” ‘Eat Less’ as in cut back to only 1 Big Mac meal with a diet soft drink a day? ‘Move more’ as in start running 10 K a day? Did he forget that I broke my ankle a couple of summers ago just walking?

Let me save you a lot of time, frustration, and perhaps your life, by shouting, “EAT LESS, MOVE MORE” DOES NOT WORK!  It does not address the root cause common to all of these diseases.  It does not address insulin resistance.  It does not ‘fix’ insulin resistance or improve your quality of health or longevity.
